Nine Cruisers attended a very informative talk
by Dr. Mason Shore Monday evening at the Centre. His talk was run
specific, identifying several injuries common to runners, causes, and relief,
often being a correction of a malady affected by a deficiency in some other part
of the muscular-skeletal system. Much discussion ensued, questions being
asked, which resulted in good discussion. Dr. Shore left us with a few
simple limbering-up exercises to use before embarking on our run/walks.
The meeting lasted close to 2 hours, time well spent, with participation by all
there. Our thanks to Mason! Dr. Shore provided
business cards, and is open to responding to emails re: running injuries.

Five cruisers out Wed night. Rene, Laura, Libby, Edie
and Rod. Edie and Rod
walked up to the base of Underhill and back 6 km. 1h03. Not sure about the rest.
Think they went to the old IGA, but Edie and I went home before they
returned.

Runners
Alex, Laura and Rene', and walkers Larry and Bobtoc proceeded together west to
the usual route to Joe's trail. The three runners ran to North Road and

walkers and runners continued to the Centre; time for both, 1:06, distance for
the runners, 7.0 km. The five enjoyed some sun and no
